Griper News: Hannity Pushes Foley Conspiracy Theory

Last night on Fox News, Sean Hannity devoted a large part of his show to the Foley scandal. But rather than discuss Foley’s behavior and the possible cover-up by the House leadership, Hannity focused on the timing of the release of Foley’s inappropriate emails and IMs, and wondered if they were "held back to maximize the political impact before an election."

That'd be quite a trick. Let's go through the steps that Democrats would have to follow to accomplish this october surprise.

1. Kidnap Foley and do some sort of 'Clockwork Orange' brainwashing thing to make him an internet predator -- throw in a gay impulse to make it even more embarrassing to the gay bashing right.

2. Kidnap several members of congress, including Dennis Hastert, and brainwash them into covering up for the newly reprogrammed Foley.

3. Kidnap editors and programmers from several news organizations -- including FOX News -- and brainwash them into sitting on the story.

4. Kidnap Brian Ross, give him the emails and IMs, then program him with a sort of 'Manchurian Candidate' command so he puts out the info at just the right time.
