Rae Vogeler: A "Moral Indignation Quiz"

Rae Vogeler questions the sincerity of Republican 'moral outrage' over the Foley Scandal:

Moral indignation is pouring out of the Republican Party over (ex) U.S. Representative Foley's fondness for teenage pages.

I am encouraged to see this upwelling of moral outrage. Mark Foley's actions were reprehensible. Any decent human being should be appalled.

But, being a progressive type, I'm a little suspicious. How deep does this moral indignation go? After all, the Republican leadership first heard of Foley's 'indiscretions' three years ago. And they did NOTHING. Is this truly moral indignation we're seeing? Or is it fear that their Christian Right base is going to stay home in droves in the upcoming election?

So I've developed a little quiz to help sort this out and judge the true moral compass of the Grand Old Party's leadership. Just read through it and answer truthfully. We'll go over the results at the end.
