Turns out, I was way off...
sourceI hear that he's going the more traditional route, seeking a high-profile presence in the media. In fact, my sources tell me that Bolton has a morning meeting (11:30 ET to be precise) in New York with Headline Media Management, a talent management firm that, according to its website "represents anchors, reporters and producers, in news and sports broadcasting, syndication and entertainment, employed by broadcast and cable networks, local stations, producers/syndicators, cable and video-stream internet entities." Along with Meredith Vieira, HMM's site touts the following "Headliner" clients: New CBS Sunday Evening News anchor Russ Mitchell; Local DC anchor Tracey Neale; ESPN college football color analyst Ed Cunningham; and OLN hockey analyst Brian Englblom.
So a talking head -- or in John's case, a talking mustache. I don't see him getting his own show -- mostly because Bill O'Reilly's cornered the screaming lunatic fan-base. I'm guessing we'll see 'FOX News UN Expert' in front of Bolton's name sometime.
