Bush to Voters: "You're not the Boss of Me!"

Sometimes, President Bush strikes me as a contrary child -- you know, the kid reverse psychology would work on. After polls -- including the elections -- show that the majority of americans want troops out of Iraq, Bush is reportedly about to announce sending more. He's not going to let anyone tell him what to do. In fact, he's just going to do the opposite of what everyone tells him to do.

That'll show those bossy voters -- we're not the boss of him...

BBC:

US President George W Bush intends to reveal a new Iraq strategy within days, the BBC has learnt.

[...]

The move comes with figures from Iraqi ministries suggesting that deaths among civilians are at record highs.

[...]

The BBC was told by a senior administration source that the speech setting out changes in Mr Bush's Iraq policy is likely to come in the middle of next week.

Its central theme will be sacrifice.

...said the poor little rich kid who's never made a personal sacrifice in his life.
