Do Not Play 'Pin the Tail on the Donkey' with this Man
-It's 'edgy' marketing for a church-
Rev. Philip Andrukaitis of South Portland, Maine apologized after people mistook an ad for an upcoming sermon for an antisemitic screed. The sermon title "was intended to spark discussion" and was meant to denounce antisemitism, but it'd be damned hard to know that from the ad. The title was 'The Only Way to Destroy the Jewish Race.' For future reference, ironic titles shouldn't be frightening and offensive -- just a tip. (Portland Press Herald)
-Don't go to kids' parties at Bill O'Reilly's house-
Blowhard Bill on kidnapping victim Sean Hornbeck, 1/16/07: "The situation here for this kid looks to me to be a lot more fun than what he had under his old parents. He didn't have to go to school. He could run around and do whatever he wanted."
Bill on 2/5/07, after Hornbeck's kidnapper, Michael Devlin, was charged with 71 counts of kidnapping and forcible sodomy: "OK. You know -- and we all knew this was coming."
I'm not sure I approve of Bill's idea of 'fun.' Have I mentioned that O'Reilly constantly attacks people he think aren't hard enough on child predators? I should've. (Media Matters)
-He's straight... Fabulously straight...-
Future psych major Ted Haggard has been scared straight, according to Rev. Tim Ralph. "He is completely heterosexual," Ralph said. "That is something he discovered. It was the acting-out situations where things took place. It wasn't a constant thing." So, apparently, you're not 'all the way' gay if you're not actually having gay sex -- constantly.
