The Stuff I Didn't Get To -- 2/9/07

Small Business Seeks Graphic Designer

-Insane astronaut memorabilia-
People are cleaning up on obsessive (and possibly murderous) astronaut Lisa Nowak on eBay. An autographed photo is expected to fetch over $10,000 and "eBay users are selling 'Astronaut Love Triangle' shirts and even Nowak-branded Astronaut diapers." The diapers could use a little artistic effort, if you ask me. If I were her, I'd want a cut. Expect to see Nowak-brand Rubber Tubing on sale soon. If you're looking to buy, the diapers are here. (TG Daily)

-Mess with his shake and Pat Robertson will kill you-
Body builder Phillip Busch filed a lawsuit against Pat Robertson in Norfolk, VA. The suit alleges that Pat misappropriated Busch's image to promote his health shakes. Robertson isn't taking this lying down. "[Busch] contends the religious broadcaster walked into federal court for a legal proceeding and told him: 'I am going to kill you and your family.'" Pat can leg press 2,000 pounds, so don't cross him. (AP)

-Q: What's the matter with kids these days? A: Bush-
Good news, President Bush understands that kids are using drugs. Bad news, he's going to do something about it. Extra bad news, he's George W. Bush, otherwise known as 'The President Who Couldn't Find His Own Ass With Both Hands and a Flashlight.' "President Bush has proposed a significant jump in funding for an anti-drug advertising campaign that government-funded research shows is at best useless and at worst has increased drug use among some teens." An anti-drug campaign that stands a good chance of increasing drug use. When it comes to screwing things up royally, Bush has talent. (Politico)

-Lindsey Graham is nuts-
"Sen. Lindsey Graham said he was outraged that Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Peter Pace and Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates would say U.S. combat forces 'understand' politics back home and won't be disheartened by a symbolic no-confidence vote against the commander in chief." Let me get this straight, Lindsey. Pace and Gates say that troops aren't freakin' morons who couldn't possibly understand domestic politics. Further, they say they aren't pansy-assed emotional retards who'll be too dejected to fight if everyone in the world isn't cheering them on.

And this offends you? Says a lot more about you than anyone else. (Washington Times, via HuffPo)
