The Stuff I Didn't Get To -- 3/5/07

Finished product

-Some assembly required-
Cascade Township, MI residents Franck and Ludivine Larmande got a shock when they unwrapped two packages delivered to their home. "My husband started to unwrap one and said, 'This is strange, it looks like a liver,'" Ludivine Larmande said. "He started the second one, but stopped as soon as we saw the ear." It was a liver -- and part of a head -- meant for a medical research lab. The delivery company, DHS, is investigating the mix-up. Dr. Frankenstein couldn't be reached for comment. (AP)

-A little clarification would be nice-
Right wing nut Sen. James Inhofe to an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) or, as it's more accurately described, the 'Crazy People of America Conference' (this is the same conference where Ann Coulter called John Edwards a 'faggot'): "I have been called -- my kids are all aware of this -- dumb, crazy man, science abuser, Holocaust denier, villain of the month, hate-filled, warmonger, Neanderthal, Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun. And I can just tell you that I wear some of those titles proudly." Yeah, but which ones? With Inhofe, who believes global warming is a myth cooked up by communists to take down capitalism, the answer isn't immediately apparent. (Washington Post)

-More misdirected shipments-
A Philadelphia, PA boutique got a surprise when the examined a FedEx shipment. "Police were called to Fusion after employees received the two packages of marijuana totaling about 20 pounds." The pot was in two five gallon buckets and had an estimated value was $90,000. Dr. Feelgood couldn't be reached for comment. (AP)
