Swing State?

clipped from www.channel3000.com
A new poll says that Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama currently has a healthy lead in the Badger state over his Republican rival John McCain.

A survey conducted by the University of Wisconsin and WisPolitics.com found that Obama, a U.S. senator from Illinois, holds a 13-point lead over McCain, a U.S. senator from Arizona.

The survey was taken immediately after Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton dropped out of the race and backed Obama.

While rumors and speculation continue to mention Clinton as a possible vice presidential candidate, most of those surveyed said that it wouldn't make much difference to them if Obama chose Clinton as a running mate.
Wisconsin has been considered a swing state for this election. This suggests it's probably not so. With the electoral map already favoring Obama, this can't be the best news Team McCain's seen all day.

Margin of error +/- 4.5.
