It's still somewhat unclear who was behind the firing in the first place, but whoever it is, they should replace Sherrod in the ranks of the newly unemployed. This is an absolutely ridiculous and inexcusable situation.

You take the story, you hand it off to an intern, and you tell them, "Go find out why this is bullshit."
