I've got some stuff coming up later in the week, so if posting is occasionally spotty, you'll know what's going on. Now here's the news...
In his Florida victory speech, Mitt Romney said, "In another era of American crisis, Thomas Paine is reported to have said, 'Lead, follow, or get out of the way.'" Well, in the words of Socrates, "Mitt Romney's pulling stuff out of his butt again."
The NAACP calls on Pete Hoekstra to apologize for a Super Bowl ad featuring pidgin-speaking Chinese woman.
Rick Santorum literally looks back wistfully at the days of back-alley abortions. I don't think there's a GOP candidate out there I dislike more than Santorum. He's just an awful person.
Although Newt Gingrich runs a close second.
The White House takes a tough line with the GOP; if there are no moves toward tax fairness, deep defense department cuts will go ahead as planned.
Team Romney's explanation for low turnout is pretty ridiculous.
The House GOP leadership are asses.
Finally, the Romney campaign apparently no longer sees Gingrich as any kind of threat.
