Stories to Watch: 8/30/12

Unlike Josh Marshall, I'm not extremely convinced of knowledge or sensibility of MSNBC's Chuck Todd -- which means I'm less inclined to shock when he says something really stupid.

Why is it that every GOP voting roll purge turns out this way? (That's a rhetorical question, BTW. We all know why. Even Republicans.)

Republican ladies want all you other ladies to know that you don't need to worry your pretty little heads over birth control or abortion or nuthin'!

Apparently exploring new levels of gross incompetence, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer accidentally endorses Barack Obama.

Every time Mitt Romney talks about abortion, he has another position.

Paul Ryan's big steaming pile of a speech drew nowhere near the viewers the last GOP VP candidate's convention speech did.

And speaking of that last GOP VP candidate; Sarah Palin's fifteen minutes of fame may be officially over.

Censorship at the RNC? Why, that's... entirely predictable.

Finally, yet another commie calls for cuts in defense spending and tax increases.
