Stories to Watch: 11/28/12

Louie Gohmert said something stupid again.

Charlie Pierce thinks Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is in deep, deep trouble. Earlier today, a judge told the AP that the John Doe investigation into his time as Milwaukee County exec. was still ongoing and Pierce notes, "There simply are no little fish left." Everyone but Walker's been sent up. If there's an ongoing investigation, the process of elimination doesn't spell good news for the guv. A good point. If that doesn't convince you to read his post, tune in because he calls Scooter "the goggle-eyed homunculus hired by Koch Industries to run their Midwest subsidiary formerly known as the state of Wisconsin."

Rick Warren's a prick.

It's fun to watch John Boehner pretend he has any leverage at all in the fight over Bush's tax cuts for the rich. Here's hoping he's just not so delusional he actually believes his own bluster.

Former Chief Romney campaign strategist Stuart Stevens writes a Washington Post op-ed that basically "unskews" the election results and declares Mitt Romney the real winner. Turns out that people making under $50,000 thought they had the right to vote and that cost Mittens the election. Yeah, it's the 47% argument yet again. You've got to wonder if Team Romney went out of their way to find people incapable of learning.

Speaking of people incapable of learning: all House GOP committee chairs are white guys. Every, single one.

Finally, GQ names Mitt Romney the "Least Influential Person of 2012." Ouch.
