HOST: And they even admit it’s about banning the ugliest guns. They admit it.
HAMMER: Banning people and things because of the way they look because of the way they look, but here they are again. The color of a gun, the way it looks. It’s just bad politics.
That may be the stupidest and most offensive argument I’ve read in a good long while. Singling out high-capacity assault rifles as exceptionally deadly is the same as racism? Really? It’s at this point that sane people’s brains start yelling, “SHUT UP! STOP DIGGING!” to them.
Still, it gives you an idea just how shitty their arguments are. When you have this much trouble digging up a victim card, you’re pretty much out of cards altogether.
