Stories to Watch: 9/10/13

All BS aside and assuming the current game plays out, the White House just won on Syria. Any other take is just spin. Syria gives up it's chemical weapons -- which are what the strikes were going to be designed to take out --, those unpopular strikes will never take place, and the US, Russia, China, and Iran are all on the same page. In what insane world would any of that be a setback for the WH? No one ever said you had to win pretty to win.

Fox's Neil Cavuto wonders if maybe Syria isn't the End Times, when Jesus comes back to do whatever it is he's supposed to do (I always lose interest in the story about then). Boy, is he ever going to be disappointed.

Pres. Obama wants congress to delay the vote to authorize military action in Syria, to give time for a diplomatic solution to take hold.

The next big manufactured crisis will be Republican hostage-taking and threats of a government shutdown over the next budget. It could be really bad, but don't expect Jesus to show up. Although, that hostage-taking is already looking pretty weak.

American income inequality has become positively grotesque. If things get much worse, we may start seeing "class warfare" in a less figurative and more literal sense.

If electric cars are a joke, what is BMW so afraid of?

Finally, New York City predicts smooth sailing in the Democratic primary vote for mayor. Nah, just kidding. It's going to be a clusterfuck.
