When Henry Waxman announced his retirement, he cited the hyperpartisan atmosphere in Washington as one of the reasons. Tea Partier’s rejoiced and claimed they’d basically run Waxman out of town.
So they supposedly get rid of one liberal and who steps up to replace him? Their worst freakin’ nightmare — who stands a decent chance of winning this liberal district.
