Poll: Majority Want Deadline for Iraq Pullout

Yesterday, I wrote that the republican strategy of ignoring the public on Iraq is a political loser. Today, I have more proof:

Political Wire:

A new Washington Post-ABC News poll "found that 53 percent of Americans favored setting a deadline for troop withdrawals from Iraq. This is the first time a Post-ABC News poll has found that a majority of Americans supported establishing such a timetable for withdrawal."

Sooner or later, they're going to have to move away from the Bush/McCain/Lieberman position of remaining in Iraq until the sun burns out. Americans just won't stand for it. This has to end.
