The Stuff I Didn't Get To -- 3/15/07

"Oh my God, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed
killed Kenny! You bastard!"

-Overachiever?-
I guess the War on Terror is pretty much over. We've caught the guy who did everything. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has confessed to planning 9/11, the shoe-bomber, and beheading journalist Daniel Pearl. In fact, he's claimed responsibility for just about every damned terrorist act ever committed -- and some that weren't committed. I kind of think maybe he just might not be telling the truth. Every day, he confesses to something new. As the days go by, expect him to take responsibility for the Kennedy assassination, the Great Depression, and global warming.

Mohammed reportedly said, "I was responsible for the 9/11 operation from A to Z." An odd thing for an arab speaker to say, not actually having an alpha or zed in his alphabet. Hmm... (AP)

-Do it at work-
If you're going to blow a gasket in your heart, you want to do it in the breakroom. A new study shows that people are more likely to die of a heart attack on the weekend. (USA Today)

-Apparently, it's some kind of competition-
Back in February, I reported, "Police have arrested a Hokuto, Japan man for stealing women's underwear from laundromats. Police found more than 400 unmentionables in Yoshio Fukasawa's home."

Fukusawa's a loser. Meet Shigeo Kodama of Hiroshima, who "amassed the 3,977 panties, 355 bras and 10 pairs of stockings over a six-year period. He was arrested in February after he stole underwear from two houses, and police later raided his home."

In your face, Yoshio Fukasawa! (Reuters)
