Tool #1 in the nutjob toolkit
-Still the Decider-
George W. Bush to an Ohio audience: "My job is a job to make decisions. I'm a decision -- if the job description were, what do you do -- it's decision-maker. And I make a lot of big ones, and I make a lot of little ones." No word on why he decided not to finish grammar school. (Think Progress)
-Lex Luthor he's not-
A Polk, FL man is jailed for burglary and petit theft after stealing 'several cases of beer' from a local restaurant. Darren Copeland's first mistake was putting his stolen brew in a trashcan and wheeling it down the sidewalk in front of the local cop shop. An officer stopped him and Copleland claimed he 'found' the beer by the dumpster near a local restaurant. The officer took him to the restaurant and found 'a large hole in the building's wall that led to a storage room where beer was stored.' Taking the cops right to an obvious crime scene is what any criminal mastermind would do... (Orlando Sentinal)
-What is it with crazy people and swords?-
A naked North Charleston, SC woman was taken into cutody after a standoff with police. Police showed up at her door after her doctor reported that she'd threatened to kill herself. "The woman came to the door nude, spit on the glass window pane, hissed at officers and pointed a large dagger at her chest," the report says. Negotiators were able to talk her into coming out, although she had her own ideas and brought a 3-foot sword with her. Police used a Taser to subdue her and she was taken without injury. I love nothing more than a good 'dumb criminal' story!
