I couldn't find a photo of an imaginary train platform...
-I don't think it's covered-
Michael Natbony of Marietta, GA is suing is car insurance company to force it cover damages to his Lexus SUV. How did the truck get damaged? According to the report:
When Cobb County police finally stopped an out-of-control driver after a high-speed chase through red lights and major intersections, they spotted a gun and feared the worst.
Sirens screamed as backup patrol cars rushed in, bumping the Lexus SUV to stop it on the I-75 south off-ramp to South Marietta Parkway. When the driver locked the car doors, police smashed the windows to get in.
The menacing motorist turned out to be 19-year-old private school graduate Jennifer Natbony, who was on drugs and hunkered down inside her mom's luxury car...
The gun was a pellet gun. The company says it doesn't have to pay for 'lawful damages' -- i.e., stuff police do to your car to bust your drugged out daughter who flees police in a big old deadly instrument of automotive destruction. The damages total $12,612. Look, it's a freakin' Lexus -- odds are good that Natbony can afford it. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
-Philippine Piercing Parlors are hardcore-
Every year I read this story somewhere... And every year I think, "WTF is wrong with these peoples' heads?" Each Good Friday, people in the Philippines nail a bunch of idiots to crosses and literally crucify them. Look, I'm all for tradition, but maybe an Easter Parade might be a better idea, folks... -This is in England, why aren't they using english?-
I'm not sure what the hell this is all about:
Ten youths have been arrested after Harry Potter's train, the Hogwarts Express, was attacked by vandals.
The train - famous for departing from imaginary platform 9 3/4 at London's King's Cross station - had numerous windows smashed by yobs.
If it's an imaginary station, is it an imaginary train? Apparently not. Ten youths, who aren't imaginary, have been charged in causing 50,000 pounds in damage. (ITN)
