Paul Wolfowitz reacting to every damned idea he's ever had
-Well played...-
Paul Wolfowitz, who lost his job at the World Bank because he was pushing for an insane pay-raise for his girlfriend, finds himself out on the street -- alone. According to the report, "Sources say [Shaha] Riza, a brilliant feminist with a promising diplomatic career, was upset by all the publicity and the implication that she was getting ahead with the help of a powerful man. 'She was furious about the embarrassment,' said one source." Furious enough to break up with him. So, no job, no girlfriend... Great plan, Wolfie. Do I really need to point out that this is 'the architect of the Iraq war?' Yeah, this guy doesn't waste a lot of time having good ideas.
And, ladies, he's available... (NY Post)
-Is you is or is you ain't?-
Actual headline: "'DC madam' lawyer: Cheney isn't not on phone records." A lawyer for accused DC Madam Deborah Palfrey, according to Roll Call, told the paper that 'Vice President Cheney isn't not on the phone records of the alleged D.C. Madam, who is accused of running a high-price call-girl ring in Washington... But then again, the veep isn't on the list, he said -- not necessarily." Well, that makes everything as clear as paint. I so want to make a joke about unloading in a hooker's face, but I'll restrain myself. (Raw Story)
