The Stuff I Didn't Get To -- 6/12/07

Typical Staten Island High School teacher

-Who are the adults here?-
A Staten Island, NY teen is suing his school over constant harassment about his name. Osama Al-Najjar says that teachers at his school have tormented him over his first name to the point where he eventually attempted suicide. "Osama says the students at his school did not participate in the tormenting," the report says. "In fact, he says they often sympathized with him over the treatment he was receiving from his teachers."

"The students were more understanding than the teachers. The teachers are the ones who called him names -- bin Laden, terrorist. One of the teachers told him not to bother to come to class because no matter what he did he's not gonna pass,'" says Osama's mother, Suad Abuhasna. Here's hoping the suit makes him freakin' rich. -A bold souvenir hunter-
From the AP; "One moment President Bush was glad-handing Albanians on Sunday, proudly sporting a watch with a dark strap on his left wrist... Moments later, it was gone." Did he drop it? Nah, he got ripped off. Albanian TV catches some guy snatching it off his wrist (about the 1:00 mark):

Smooth... (AP)

-Apparently, there's some policy against telling the truth... About anything-
Headline; "U.S. denies reports Bush's watch stolen in Albania." Dude, I just saw it happen. According to the US embassy in Tiran, Albania, however, "The story is untrue and the president did not lose his watch." Not only wasn't it stolen, but he didn't even lose it!

Here's an interesting question; where the hell did it go, then? (Reuters)
