-NEWSFLASH!: Republicans aren't crazy-
GOP pollster Tony Fabrizio has a surprising poll that seems to back up the idea that the Republican party has been taken over by right wing nuts. In polling 2,000 GOP voters, Fabrizio found 'that 77 percent said employers should not have the right to fire an employee over their sexual orientation; nearly half would let gays serve openly in the military. While 61 percent called themselves "pro-life," only 28 percent want to ban all abortions, and 72 percent said the decision should be up to the woman, her family, and her doctor, not the government.'
Allow me to add that that last position, held by 72% Republicans, is the very definition of the pro-choice position, regardless of how they describe themselves. I remember telling a Republican woman once, "You've got to get your party back from the crazies" -- that was in 1992, before Clinton was elected. Apparently, not a lot of headway has been made in that direction since. (Right Wing Watch)

The short answer? No.
The long answer? Negative.
What do you expect? It all happens at 'purity balls' and nothing gets a young woman's mind off premarital sex like the word 'balls.' (ABC News)
