GOP presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani
-Poll: people don't know any GOP candidates-
So far, Republican candidates are having a little trouble getting their messages out. In fact, things look really bleak. A new Pew Research poll shows that 41% can't name a GOP candidate, while 81% could name a dem. In fact, Republican obsessing over Hillary Clinton seems to be backfiring -- 78% of Republicans could name Clinton, while only 57% could name their own frontrunner, Rudy Giuliani.
A spokesperson for the Giuliani campaign said that they were considering ways to make Rudy more visible -- perhaps making up a nifty nickname like, Rudy "Hillary's the devil" Giuliani. Rudy "I look like Nosferatu" Giuliani and Rudy "9/11, 9/11, 9/11!" Giuliani are clearly failing, analysts say. (Salon, via MoJoBlog)

According to the report from Brussels, "Police patrolling the red-light district of the Belgian capital have been ordered to stop visiting brothels and drinking in bars when on duty." Now Brussels will have to get a different mascot for its public service announcements. "Captain Sudsy McLoopy, the Hooker-Lovin' Crime Dog" isn't going to cut it anymore.
