Did you know Sen. Jim Inhofe was an absolute idiot? It's either that or he pretends to be -- which, in practice, is pretty much the same thing. When DC got socked with a big ol' blizzard, Inhofe and his spawn went out into the snow and built an igloo, to prove there's no such thing as global warming. See, climate and weather are exactly the same thing and scientists just made up two words for it to confuse everyone -- if it ever snows, that means global warming is a crock. So they slapped a sign on the igloo that read, "AL GORE'S NEW HOME" and chuckled their mentally handicapped little hearts out.

Remember, weather and climate are the same thing. This means that if the global temperature rises, it'll never snow anywhere ever. That's why climate scientists are always talking about how it'll never snow anywhere ever again. You can't get them to shut up about it, right?
Ok, so they've never said anything like that. In fact, they say the opposite. "[W]inter snows do not invalidate the reality that the planet just experienced the hottest decade on record," reports climate wonk Brad Johnson. "Scientists have been warning for decades that global warming would increase the severity of winter storms."
So the Inhofe clan decided to make fun of scaredy-pants scientists by pointing out that what said scientists predicted was exactly what was happening...

Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele is doing a great job leading his party out of the wilderness -- just ask some expert on party wilderness escapology named "Michael Steele!"
In an interview with Washington magazine, Mike blamed all his bad press on haters.
"I don’t see stories about the internal operations of the DNC that I see about this operation," he said. "Why? Is it because Michael Steele is the chairman, or is it because a black man is chairman?"
You don't see stories about how DNC head Gov. Tom Kaine is screwing everything up and saying crazy shit all the time -- mostly because he doesn't. But do you know who the absolute head of the Democratic Party is right now? It's some fella named "Barack Obama."

"Did a soldier waterboard his daughter?"
Army sergeant Joshua Tabor reportedly waterboarded his 4 year-old daughter because she couldn't recite the alphabet. This is fine, because waterboarding isn't torture.
"She said her letters after that," he later told police.
ABC News reports, "Joshua Ryan Tabor, 27, was arrested on Jan. 31 and charged with assaulting a child after police in Yelm, Wash., responded to a call of a disturbance at Tabor's home and then later found the little girl hiding in a locked bathroom, according to Police Chief Todd Stancil."
Charged? Assault? Waterboarding isn't a crime, right? It's not torture... Is it abuse? Can't be, that'd be illegal too.
