A community is grieving even more after word that a third victim has died following Tuesday's shooting on a college campus.
Hazard Police Chief Minor Allen says 12-year old Taylor Cornett died this afternoon at UK Hospital.
Police say 20-year old Caitlin Cornett and 53-year-old Jackie Cornett died at the scene.
It happened Tuesday night around 6:00pm in the parking lot of Hazard Community and Technical College.
Police arrested Dalton Stidham, also known as Dalton Miller, after he turned himself in and allegedly confessed.
He is now expected to be charged with three counts of murder.
In an arrest citation police say Stidham admitted to the shooting.
He told police, "I snapped, shot three people, I'm sure."
A "cooling off" period probably would've saved all the victims lives. According to the report, "the gun found at the scene believed to be used by Stidham during the shooting matched the description he gave police of a hand gun purchased earlier that day." The pistol was a semi-automatic weapon.
