Proof that naked, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life...
-Now there's a shock-
Founding neocon, editor of The Weekly Standard, and failed swami William Kristol has at least one fan left. Kristol wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post that has been widely ridiculed and cited as evidence that Kristol had finally gone off the deep end. President Bush, however, found it extremely enlightening and "recommended it for his entire staff."
The title of the piece? Why Bush Will Be A Winner, which explains that King George might be getting bad press now, but history will remember him with all the glory that future historians can bestow.
Life would be a lot easier if there wasn't always some moron willing to blow smoke up Bush's ass about how brilliant he is. Just a word of advice, Bill -- historians won't wash that brown off your nose. (Raw Story)
-[Fake] headline of the day-
"Earthquake Sets Japan Back To 2147." That's just great, now who'll make all the sex robots? (The Onion)
-My point exactly-
A great political cartoon from David Horsey (click image for full comic):
When you put right wing talking points in the proper context, they really don't hold up very well. (News From Babylon, via reddit)
-A first-
For the first time, a [real] headline of the day and a quote of the day come from the same news story. HOTD: "Lohan in nude rehab shock." QOTD: "I drove them all mad wandering around completely naked. They kept telling me to quit, but it was so much fun to tease all those boys. I just couldn't stop it!" -- Noted Celebutard and Rehab Frequent Flyer Mile Recipient Lindsey Lohan.
She drove them mad? This begs the question of who drove her mad. One of those 'chicken or the egg' things to ponder... (Bang! Showbiz)

Here's something you haven't gotten to yet: the case of the SubGenius mother has ended. And she lost, big time -- the father gets custody of her son, she's $70,000 in debt from legal bills, and the court has not lifted an order for her to remove SubGenius materials from her home even though she doesn't have custody of her son anymore.
