Stories to Watch: 9/11/10

Raining here. I don't want to talk about it. Here's the news...

Terry Jones rules out having a Quran cookout -- ever. Meanwhile, his daughter says he's goofy and needs help.

Hey, how about that awesome infrastructure we have, huh? Don't mess with perfection, right GOP?

Sharron Angle's running shoes get another workout. This time, she's fleeing from debates.

Republicans, already measuring the drapes, say that a government shut down is in the cards after November. It worked out so well for Newt Gingrich, after all. The White House says this illustrates just how extreme the current crop of Republicans really are.

RNC head Michael Steele says Republicans are wasting time attacking him rather than focusing on elections. About that: when was the last time you saw "Michael Steele" in a headline? Way to hit these news stories right as they peak, Mike.

"Obama = Hitler" makes a comeback.

9/11 is a day of somber reflection, making it the perfect time for a wingnut Hate Festival.

Finally, 9/11 is also a good time to revisit Glenn Beck's inspiring message of hope and remembrance.

Glenn Beck, keeping it classy. How this guy convinced so many people he's the freakin' second coming, I'll never know. There are a lot of gullible fools in the world, I guess.
