-Headline of the Day-
"Fox & Friends Falls For Fake LAPD Jetpack Story."
The show that's such unbelievable bullshit that you wish there were a stronger word for bullshit makes the roundup again. And, in the process, they reveal the depths of their credulity and the rigorousness of their fact-checking.
See, F&F "discovered" that the LAPD had bought 10,000 at $100,000 a pop, meaning LA cops spent one billion bucks on nifty Jetson's stuff, which seems a little pricy for a California city's budget. Of course, the source of the story was the Weekly World News -- home of Batboy! -- so you know this is just rock-solid journalism.
"You gotta make up some rules," said Brian Kilmeade. "Because you're going to have jetpacks flying into choppers!" Yeah, that'd be a real problem there, Brian. Host Steve Doocy later retracted the story, saying that "it looked like the LAPD was going to buy a whole bunch. Turns out they're not going to."
See, this is why you do your fact-checking before you report the story.
You've got to wonder, why are all these people so drunk so early in the morning? (Mediaite, with video)
-Teabaggage-
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow reports that Tea Party candidates aren't just rightwing nutjobs, they're also secret agents!
Now, either these uber-moral rightwing goofballs are undercover agents or they're lying -- which wouldn't be so uber-moral. Crazy teabaggers making shit up? Unheard of. (MSNBC, via Raw Story)

"Fear of Fox and the death of a climate bill."
Long story short, Lindsey Graham's a pussy. (Political Animal)
