It's Sunday, which means new Venture Brothers and a new Metalacolypse tonight. Good times, good times...
Now here's the news...
The "One Nation" rally in Washington draws the projected 175,000 to 200,000, according to reports on the left. On the right, the story is that it was a ghost town. So probably somewhere in between there.
Frank Rich argues that Christine O'Donnell is actually good for the GOP. Not so sure I agree.
Meg Whitman blames opponent Jerry Brown for her undocumented employee problem, which begs the question; did Whitman let Brown hire a housekeeper for her? Otherwise, it's a stupid argument. The fault for the act lies with the actor. Logic hates Meg Whitman.
As always, Sen. Bernie Sanders has some excellent advice. And, as always, the Democratic establishment will completely ignore it.
The State Department issues a warning to people traveling to Europe that "Al-Qaeda and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks" there.
Finally, following up on its huge donation to the Republican Governors Association, FOX News gives a cool million to the rightwing Chamber of Commerce. Not exactly the freshest news, but it made me think about the constant appearances by Karl Rove as a pundit. Shouldn't FOX just go ahead and admit that Rove's appearances are an infomercial for his American Crossroads PAC? I mean, it's not like they're even pretending they're not the RNC press office anymore.
