"To save America, we need another 9/11." Because dumbass Philadelphia Daily News columnist Stu Bykofsky thinks we need to be reminded that terrorists are bad people. Allow me to predict his next column; "Child Molesters are Bad -- We Need More Child Molesters."

-Bob Allen, the saga continues-
It was the first paragraph of this story that got me. According to the report, "Embattled state Rep. Bob Allen, who has been vilified by computer bloggers and lampooned on late-night talk shows since his arrest on a charge of soliciting prostitution, is not a criminal or a racist and has no plans to resign, his attorney said Wednesday."
What about the bloggers -- like me -- who've lampooned and vilified him, don't we count?
Anyway, it turns out that Allen said that the cop did all the soliciting and that, according to his lawyer, "These three guys were hanging out together, obviously together, and then one of them asks for money. It was the classic situation in a mugging." A classic situation in a mugging is a guy offering to sell you a blow job? Seems like kind of a pointless step in the process to me.
Also unclassic was the 'victim's' behavior -- Allen suggested "they find a quiet place" for said BJ and/or mugging. His crime avoidance strategy here is... I don't know, confusing? Stupid? Unbelievable?
We know that there's one crime which Allen can't possibly weasel out of (not like he has any chance of dodging this one) -- according to the report, "The two were walking to Allen's car, which had been left in a no-parking zone, when the officer showed his badge and arrested the lawmaker." At least we know he parks like an asshole. (Orlando Sentinel)
